Jeffrey B. Speaks, M.A.
Jeffrey B. Speaks is a doctoral student and teaching fellow at Boston University School of Theology, concentrating in Theology and Philosophy. He is a graduate of United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities (M.A.) and the University of Minnesota (B.A.). Jeffrey’s research interests include religious and ecstatic naturalism, American philosophy, radical theologies and Unitarian Universalism. He has presented his work in the United States and in Europe, and he has been published in the American Journal of Theology and Philosophy and the Journal of Unitarian Universalist History. Jeffrey is a member of the Institute for American Religious and Philosophical Thought, the American Academy of Religion, the Metaphysical Society of America, the Boston Theological Society, the Religious Naturalist Association, and Unitarian Universalist Collegium.
Outside of his academic pursuits, Jeffrey is an avid musical theater actor, guitar player, and a cook. He lives in Quincy, MA with his wife and daughter.
